Family documents
When do you need a marriage certificate translation?
A marriage certificate confirms marital status. A Polish institution may require sworn translation if it was issued in another language.
Some multilingual extracts and documents covered by applicable international rules may be exempt from translation. What should you check before translating a certificate?
We take particular care with personal details, as certificate translations are often submitted with passports and other family documents.
Surnames and first names
Provide the Latin-script spelling from passports and relevant documents. Include previous surnames where needed for the package.
Reverse sides and endorsements
Photograph both sides, including amendments, certifications and attached sheets.
Institutional requirements
Check whether the original, a particular extract or a recently issued document is required.
Collection or delivery
Tell us your submission date. Translation turnaround and delivery time are calculated separately.
